Orchestra | Summer Camp
Held July 14-18 from 9am-3pm at
Peace in Christ Lutheran Church, Walkersville with conductors Mr. Tom
Mitchell & Mr. Elijah Wirth. This year’s summertime orchestra and ensemble
opportunity is back by demand. FRYO
summer camp is especially designed for student musicians who
have played their orchestral instruments for
at least one year. Day-camp tuition for
runs $225. Campers provide their own instruments and supplies (extra
strings, reeds, etc.), transportation, and
lunches. Dress is casual. The FRYO summer
camp is an excellent opportunity for students
who are new to ensemble playing to
explore performing with a group in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Experienced players will extend their musical training and performance
skills while meeting new acquaintances
and renewing old friendships. All students will
perform in an informal concert
at the end of the week for family and friends. Contact
Linda Skutt
or call
301.829.5307. Great experiences don't
have to be expensive.
