Aniko Debreceny offers private instruction in flute, theory, chamber music and beginner piano, as well as singing classes and choruses in Montgomery County. A musician and teacher for over thirty five years, "Miss Aniko" is a master teacher. Many of her students have performed in All-County and All-State ensembles, as well as FRYO and MCYO. Ms. Debreceny accompanies her students on the piano and teaches to a high standard, using a variety of materials from jazz to classical. We present two studio recitals annually. Individual instruction for students, ages 6 through adult and at any level, in piano, voice, guitar, brass, strings, woodwinds and percussion. Students may choose 13 half-hour, 45-minute, or hour-long sessions. An additional week is reserved for recitals. Students provide their own practice instruments. Students under the age of 6 may study with permission of instructor. Prior to registration, students should call the instructor for availability and individual lesson scheduling.

Palmer Family Music and Dance Lessons

Cathy Palmer has been teaching violin lessons to ages 5 through adult for more than 30 years. She also teaches Irish and Scottish fiddling and bowed psaltery lessons. Abbie Palmer is a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory and teaches Celtic harp and pedal harp lessons. Christa Palmer teaches private and small group classes in Irish stepdancing. Bill Palmer offers private and small group lessons in bodhran (Irish drum). Cathy also leads ensemble groups for students to play music together in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Musical families are welcomed.
