The Home School Enrichment program is designed to supplement at-home schooling instruction. Art classes are offered on weekdays and are taught by FCC adjunct faculty and home school parents and professionals. Class size is limited. Subjects are age appropriate and organized by age group (9-12, 13-16).

The Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center provides the Frederick region with educational opportunities and experiences in the visual arts through classes, exhibits, and programs. Classes are offered in an ever-growing list of media and subjects for all ages and levels of experience. The small class sizes are led by experienced instructors, who are also working artists. Our award-winning facility features classroom/studio spaces for drawing, painting, crafts, photography, printmaking, wood, and ceramics as well as a reference library.

I teach fine arts (drawing, painting, etc.) in my home studio / classroom to children ages eight and up. I concentrate my classes especially on drawing skills and the basics of fine art. An introduction to famous artists and paintings is included.
