This month and next, immerse yourselves in European culture at the Third Annual Kids Euro Festival.

Held from October 14-November 10, 2010 this festival provides over 150 free events in the MD/DC/Virginia area and is billed as “the largest performing arts festival of its kind in the United States.”

From the press release:

"Kids Euro Festival features talented European entertainers for children from almost every performance genre, as well as a film series, storytelling, and teacher workshops. Puppetry, magic, dance, music, circus acts, acrobats, opera, and improvisational art are just a few of the exciting and engaging performances scheduled during four weeks of artistic exploration, with no passport required.

Designed for children aged two through twelve, Kids Euro Festival is once again being staged through the cooperation of the 27 European Union embassies in Washington and more than twenty major local cultural institutions. “
