Imagine over 100 people gathered in a homeschool
habitat to celebrate Homeschool Frederick!'s Homeschool
Day! If you missed the event, you missed great
weather, great people, and a great place to celebrate
the 2nd birthday bash!
Spending the afternoon at Thurmont-based Catoctin
Wildlife Preserve & Zoo encourages world-class learning
of Earth's natural habitats. For some, hands-on
demonstrations and animal encounters were key learning
experiences. Who could forget the large army of gray
armed macaques, the leaping and loud ring-tailed lemurs,
or hand-feeding various animals located throughout the
50-acre park?
Thank you to each and everyone who came out on a
beautiful Friday afternoon. I look forward to meeting
many of you again in the next HSF! sanctioned event!
