FRIDAY NIGHT STARGAZING IN THE OBSERVATORY
Every Friday: 7:00-10:30 PM (weather permitting) I MARYLAND SCIENCE CENTER, BALTIMORE
Venture out to our urban rooftop Observatory to view the night sky as our staff help you find planets and constellations. The Observatory is open every Friday night, weather permitting. Stargazing is free and open to the public, admission to the Science Center is not required. Phone 410-545-2999 before your visit to check on viewing conditions.

We have kicked off our Homeschool History Days here at Rose Hill and have had a great turnout so far. Last month we began our series in Colonial History with "Give Me Liberty." This class focused on the people and events leading up the Revolutionary War.
We have one classes remaining:
· A New Nation – 8/3 (Friday) and 8/14 (Tuesday)
The classes are offered on the 1st Friday and 2nd Tuesdays of each month from 1:30 – 3:00 PM in our programs room at the Manor House, encompassing ages five through fourteen at $5.00 per student. Go to www.recreater.com to register for the classes or come as walk-ins on the day of the program and pay at the desk. We hope that you will join us as we explore the people and events of this exciting time in history."
