Since October 1st, we have opened our farm, located in beautiful historic, Buckeystown, MD for fall / winter farm tours and agricultural education programs tailored to elementary and early middle school aged students.
Our educational program focuses on a variety of crops, including pumpkins, popcorn, broom corn, Indian corn, feed corn and Christmas trees. Groups take a hayride to tour the 170 acre farm with stops throughout for demonstrations and discussions.

Mayne’s Tree Farm operated as a dairy farm beginning in 1956 prior to specializing in crop diversification.

Christmas trees at Mayne's Tree Farm in Frederick, MD are available from Friday, November 26th until Thursday, December 23rd. We are open daily from 9AM- 5PM. Mayne's allows you to cut your own trees or choose from our pre-cut selection. Hayrides are available on weekend

Every weekend through November 7th, we offer to families, groups, & individuals:
- Free weekend hayrides to our acres of field grown pumpkins where you can pick your own!
- Pick your own ears of popcorn!
- A 20 acre “waterfowl” theme corn maze!
- A fully stocked country store with cider, apples, baked goods, jams, honey!
- Mums, pansies, gourds, Indian corn, & squash!
- Mini maze, scarecrow making, farm tattoos, farm museum, observation bee hives, and a nature trail!
- Private parties & campfires!

Summers Farm Adventures include activities to keep active toddlers happy, school-aged youngsters intrigued, and young adults amazed! While the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch are big adventures are at Summers Farm, there are acres of excitement waiting for you and your family to explore.
